The annual Remembrance Day civic parade will take place in Penrith on Sunday 10th November at 2pm
Invited dignitaries will form in Portland Place at 1.45pm on Sunday before setting off at 2.00pm and marching down Middlegate to St Andrews’ Church for Penrith town’s Service of Remembrance at 2.30pm.
Penrith Town Council has said “Seats will be reserved for the civic dignitaries invited to attend but members of the public are welcome to attend the civic service.”
The parade will be led by the town band along with veterans and serving members of the armed forces and representatives from other local organisations.
