Long delays on the A66 East bound.

Heavy traffic heading east on the A66 is continuing to cause long delays on the A66 around Penrith this evening.

Traffic is queuing between Junction 40 and Kemplay Roundabout with long tailback east of Kemplay.
Reports of queuing traffic eastbound through to Temple Sowerby bypass.

Traffic is also queuing on the J40 slip road and onto the M6 in the south bound lane as traffic joins the bank holiday east bound traffic on the A66.
