A6 Closed Between Clifton and Penrith following Serious Collision

Police have closed the A6 between Clifton and Eamont Bridge this evening following a serious collision at the junction of Clifton Cross.

All traffic is been turned around heading towards Penrith with traffic heading towards Clifton diverted via the Clifton Dykes road.

Advice is avoid the road and find alternative route.
