Today Penrith Fire Station are holidng and open day in support of The Firefighters Charity

Today (31st August 2024) between 11am and 3pm Penrith Community Fire Station are opening the doors for the community to come along and enjoy its fundraising day supporting The Firefighters Charity.

Alongside the opportunities to use a Firehoses and other equipment plus have a look around some of the Penrith Fire Station appliances. Other organisations that work alongside Cumbria Fire and Rescue services will be taking part in the fundraising day including the Beep Doctors, Police, Ambulance and Blood Bikes will also be adding to the array of things to see and do at Penrith Fire Station this Saturday between 11am and 3pm.

Activities running through the day also include games, Road Traffic Collision Extraction Demonstration and opportunities to take a look around and find out more about what the team at Penrith Community Fire Station do and how they do it.

Refreshments will be available as well as ice cream, cakes and the famous Penrith Fire Station raffle with some amazing prizes up for grabs.
