Some Town Centre businesses forced to close due to power cut

Electricity North West are dealing with a power cut that is effecting some town centre businesses in Penrith this morning forcing some to close.

Engineers are onsite and hope to have power restored by 15:00 today to all customers currently without power.

The power issues are effecting some properties in the Great Dockray, Angel Lane and Square and some parts of New Squares area of town.
