While thousands head to Kendal Calling this weekend, Penrith is preparing to call on music lovers for a live music event with a very different purpose – raising money for two life-saving charities.
A special evening of live music and entertainment is being organised in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity and the Great North Air Ambulance, celebrating the people and talents both in front of and behind the scenes of Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
The event promises an evening packed with live music, entertainment, a raffle, auction, bar and food, with organisers set to reveal the full band line-up soon.
Running from 7pm until 11pm, tickets cost £20 each and include entry into a prize draw, giving everyone who attends the chance to win while supporting two charities that provide vital support across the region.
The Fire Fighters Charity helps serving and retired firefighters, fire service staff and their families, while the Great North Air Ambulance provides specialist critical care across Cumbria and the North of England.
Organisers are encouraging people to come along for a great night of live entertainment while helping to raise as much money as possible for two charities that make a real difference when people need them most.
