Overnight Closure of Junction 40 Slip Roads and M6 lane closures

Northern entry slip road onto the M6 and Southbound exit slip road off the M6 on J40 will be closed overnight from 10pm tonight (Monday 18th November) until 6am on Tuesday morning.

Lanes will also be closed on both sides of the M6 on the North side of Junction 40 alongside the slip road closures to enable overnight work and bridge inspection work.

Traffic travelling between the M6 and A66 will be diverted via junction 41 through Penrith during the overnight closure.
