Penrith Mountain Rescue is recruiting for new Team members to join them.
The Penrith Mountain Rescue Team is made up of volunteers from all walks of life who share a common love for the outdoors and helping people in need.
Applicants must be comfortable looking after themselves out on the fells in all weathers, on all types of terrain.
They are keen to hear from people from all kinds of outdoor backgrounds, whether it be hill walking, climbing, fell running or mountaineering.
Penrith Mountain Rescue Team covers a large area of northeast Cumbria, including parts of the Lake District, Eden Valley and North Pennines. Being a team member is very rewarding but also involves a large time commitment for both training and callouts.
Applications will be reviewed in late August so if you would like to become a member of the Penrith Mountain Rescue you will need your application in by August 25th.
