An opportunity to build a career through a bricklaying apprenticeship is available with an established Penrith construction business.
The role offers a practical route into the construction
industry, giving the successful applicant the chance to learn on site while
working alongside experienced tradespeople on local building projects.
Alongside day-to-day site experience, the apprenticeship includes structured
training leading to recognised qualifications.
Work will involve supporting a range of general bricklaying
duties on active building sites, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as
preparing materials, assisting with wall construction, and learning correct
techniques under supervision. The apprenticeship is designed to gradually build
skills and confidence on site while developing a strong understanding of the
trade.
The position is with Atkinson Building Contractors, an
established Penrith-based construction firm working across a range of local
residential and commercial projects. The company has an active presence in the
area and is involved in ongoing construction work throughout Penrith and
surrounding villages. They are looking for someone who is keen to learn,
reliable, and interested in developing a long-term career in the trade.
Apprenticeships continue to provide one of the main entry
routes into construction, combining hands-on experience with formal training.
They are widely used across the industry as a way of developing skilled workers
from the ground up while offering a structured pathway into long-term
employment.
