The Armed Force Veterans Breakfast Club organisers have secured a visit from Gary Shivers, who is the Armed Forces Champion for Cumbria & Lancashire for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), to attend Saturday’s Veterans Breakfast.
This is an opportunity for veterans attending the breakfast club to ask any questions about, benefits, pensions or anything else related to the DWP.
Kerryanne Wilde who runs the Armed Force Veterans Breakfast Club in Penrith Said ‘Don't struggle in silence. This is the perfect opportunity to gain advice and apply for benefits. Even the smallest award of benefits can open other doors and options to you. This is not the time to be "Too Proud".’
