National Highways are warning drivers travelling on the M6 and A66 of another abnormal load this weekend that could lead to delays and is asking drivers to take care and have patience on the road.
The abnormal load operation taking place this weekend will start on Saturday travelling along the M62 from Rochdale before travelling on the M66 - A56 - M65 - M61 before joining the M6 at Junction 30 heading North to Tebay on Saturday (2nd November).
The vehicle will park up overnight at Tebay before completing its journey to Seascale on Sunday (3rd November)
Travelling North from Tebay along the M6 to Junction 40 at Penrith where the vehicles will exit onto the A66 heading to West Cumbria before travelling on the A595 to Seascale.
National Highways have asked for drivers to take 'care and patience when overtaking in lane three'.
