A6 at Clifton passable with care after two vehicle crash

The A6 at Clifton is passable with care following a two vehicle crash just after 10pm this evening (Friday 22nd November).

The crash involving a pickup truck and car has caused extensive damage to both vehicles with debris across the road.

Police are on the scene and are allowing vehicles to pass slowly through the narrow part of the road.

No one was injured in the crash but police have said that the crash involve suspected drink driving.

The A6 is also extremely slippery due to the freezing temperatures this evening.

Recovery of the vehicles is expected to take place just after midnight.
