Planned power cut will see the supply lost by 596 properties in the Castletown area of Penrith on Friday to allow Electricity North West to carryout maintenance work on the power networking supplying the residential properties in Castletown.
Electricity North West have said “We try to plan our work as smart as we can, to reduce the impact to our customers lives.”
“We invest millions every year into maintaining the local network. This helps us to ensure all areas of the North West region have a safe and secure supply of electricity for the future. Sometimes, this requires us to temporarily interrupt your supply so our engineers can work safely.”
The company says the power will not be switched off before 9am and will be back on by 5pm.
