As Penrith gets ready to sparkle this Christmas with the towns Christmas light switch on celebration just 9 days away.
The Penrith Sparkle promises day of celebrations, entertainment, a visit by Santa, a festive tractor parade through the town and a celebrity guest to push the button on the lights to make the town sparkle for Christmas.
Penrith BiD have invested in an array of new festive lighting for Penrith this Christmas as well as organising the switching celebrations on the 18th November.
The BiD has lined up Cumbria’s own Celebrity Helen Skelton to switch on the towns lights this year.
