A long-running community station serving Penrith and local communities has a new name and focus as Eden FM becomes Cumbrian Local Radio.
The station says the rebrand reflects its broader reach across the area and marks a new chapter in the stations 16 years of community broadcasting from its first test broadcasts back in 2010 to going on air full time in June 2014 as Eden FM.
It officially launched under the new name this weekend, with new shows, new presenters joining the team and expanded local coverage.
Cumbrian Local Radio will continue to serve the towns of Penrith, Appleby and Local communities but is expanding its service out from the Eden Valley and across Cumbria.
The station is available on 107.5 FM and online 24 hours a day with presenters from the local area and some a bit further away bringing daily shows with music news sport and local information for their Cumbrian audience.
