Westmorland and Furness Council’s leadership have today decamped from the council offices to hold their cabinet meeting at The People’s Hall, Sedbergh.
The cabinet have a full agenda including the allocation of £1.701m Bus Service Improvement Plan Plus funding the council has been awarded to improve bus service provision and connectivity in Westmorland & Furness.
The bus funding has draws a crowd to the meeting including a group from Greystoke who are hoping the council will approve funding to restore a daily bus service between a Greystoke and Penrith.
