Tim Hortons opens its doors in Penrith.

In sub zero temperature people from across Cumbria lines up from before 4am this morning for the opening of Canadian fast food chain Tim Hortons located just of Kemplay Roundabout.

The Penrith opening is the first for the chain in Cumbria for the firm.

The crowd who had braved sub zero temperature for the opening today were greeted with fresh coffee, donuts and a range of breakfast treats.
