Storm Bram: Over 1000 properties in and around Penrith Currently Without Power

Electricity North West are working to restore power to over 1000 properties in Penrith and local villages around the town after strong winds caused damage to power lines and equipment.

It’s understood around 300 properties are still without electric in Penrith and hundreds of properties in Eamont Bridge, Brougham and Stainton are without power.

Electricity Northwest are working to restore power to all homes and hope to have supplies restored to most just after midnight but continuing strong winds from Storm Bram could delay repairs.
