The Satellite footage released by CIRA (Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere) at Colorado State University, shows the full force of Storm Eowyn as it slams into the UK on Friday bringing wind speed over 100mph in places.
As the storm approached the UK over four million people receiving emergency alerts urging them to stay indoors in areas danger to life Red weather warnings had been issued in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The images of the Mid-latitude Cyclone were captured by Meteosat-10 between 15:00 on the 23/01/2025 to 15:30 on the 24/01/2025.
