RAF Late Night Low Flying exercises across Cumbria 17-19 March 2025

RAF Spadeadam has announced late-night flying exercises will be taking place over Cumbria this week from tonight (Monday 17th March).

The low flying exercises will see aircraft carrying out Low flying across Cumbria and Northumberland on approach and departure from the RAF Spadeadam range that will be active outside our routine hours this week.

aircraft will be low flying in the area on:

Monday 17 March - up to 2330 hrs

Tuesday 18 March - up to 2330 hrs

Wednesday 19 March - up to 2330 hrs

A spokesperson for RAF Spadeadam said “This activity is normal routine training, and this notification is made as the activity is outside the standard range training times. We thank you for your understanding and your continuing support whilst we deliver this essential operational training.”
