Polls have just closed in the Penrith Town Council elections

Polls have just closed at 10pm at polling stations in Penrith for Penrith North, Penrith West and Penrith South wards.

Counting will get underway shortly at Penrith Leisure centre with results announced shortly before midnight it’s expected.

9 of the candidates will be elected to seats with 4 in Penrith North,

2 in Penrith South and 3 in Penrith West.
