Police Issue Tickets as Drivers Ignore No Entry Signs.

Cumbria Police have said they are continuing to receive reports of vehicles going the wrong way through the No Entry signs on to Brunswick Square. 

Following the reports Cumbria Police have issued tickets to several drivers who were found to be contravening the no entry signs in an attempt to get around the towns road closures.

Police have said they will be continuing to patrol the location and tickets will be issued to any driver found to be going through the No Entry signs. 

Drivers are advised to only use the approved diversion routes as signposted.
