Penrith School forced to Close due to Flooding inside the building

Beaconside school has been forced to close the school today due to flooding inside of school.

With the Continuing heavy rain flooding has continued despite attempts by school staff they have been unable to stop the flooding inside the building with the situation having worsened as the morning progressed.

The school has asked that parents of any children in school please collect from the main office.

The school will inform parents of plans for tomorrow but said as “always the safety of our children is the most important thing to us”.
