An extra ordinary Penrith Town Council meeting called to discusss the council’s response to Westmorland and Furness Council consultation on Beaconside School held at 6pm on Wednesday evening has seen only 6 of the councils 15 councillors attend the meeting.
It was reported in March that any extra ordinary meetings of the town council cost £500 to hold.
