MayDay Delays on M6 and A66 Around Junction 40

Bank Holidays traffic is leading to lengthy delays this afternoon around Junction 40 with traffic currently queuing back past J41 along the M6 Southbound carriageways. 

Traffic is also queuing along the A66 on approach to junction 40 with traffic tailbacks past Stainton.

Kemplay Roundabout is currently moving freely with no delays on the approach or around it despite the heavy traffic on junction 40.
