A man in his 30’s has died following a workplace incident on Friday afternoon at a Penrith manufacturing business on the town’s industrial parks.
Emergency services were called out on Friday afternoon at 4pm to reports an incident at the business located on Mardale Road Industrial park.
A substantial number of emergency vehicles attended the Jeld-Wen door manufacturing plant in response to the incident with a man in his 30s declared dead at the scene by emergency services.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed with an investigation into the incident underway.
