Delays and Queuing Traffic on M6 and A66 Around Penrith

Drivers are again facing Friday’s long delays and queuing traffic on the M6 and A66 around Penrith along with queuing traffic through Penrith town centre.

Vehicles heading south on the M6 are queuing back from J40 to J41 with delays of 30-40 minutes to exit on the A66 at J40.

Traffic is also queuing on the A66 with delays of 20 minutes to travel between Kemplay Roundabout and J40 and Delays of 20 minutes between Slapestone Roundabout and Kemplay Roundabout.
