Counting is underway in Penrith East By Election

Counting is underway in Penrith East By Election after polls closed at 10pm in the Penrith Town Council By Election with Four Candidates battling for the vacant seat for Penrith East created after the former Town Councillor Dave Knaggs resigned from the town council in January.

All ballot boxes have arrived and the verification count is now underway with three of the four candidates eagerly observing the count.

The four candidates hoping to win the by election are:

ANDREWS, Tallis Mary Isabella – Standing as an Independent Candidate

DIPPITA, Vivo - The Labour Party Candidate

KELLEY, Ron - Liberal Democrats

LANG, Treena – ReformUK
