A66 to Remain Closed again Overnight

The A66 is to remain closed between Brough and Bowes overnight tonight (Monday 6th January)

National Highways has advised that the road will remain closed with the situation to be reviewed again on Tuesday morning.

Local radio stations and the Cumbria Police had earlier advised the road was reopened to traffic.
