A6 to Remain Closed for Hours as Air Ambulance called out following Crash between HGV and Cyclist

The A6 is likely to remain closed for hours following a collision between a HGV and a cyclist just south of Hackthorpe,

Police, Ambulance and the Air Ambulance all responded to the incident on the A6, just south of Hackthorpe that occurred just before lunchtime today.

The road may be closed for some time whilst investigations are completed. 

Drivers are asked to please try and use alternative routes, along either the M6 or A66 / A685.
