An 87 year old Lancashire man has been charged with dangerous driving on the M6 near Penrith and will appear in court on January 22 2025.
Police were called at 9.42pm on December 23 to the report of a vehicle driving Southbound on the Northbound carriageway of the M6 between J40 and J41
Officers were deployed and the vehicle involved was stopped.
The 87 year old Male of Knott End-on-Sea, Lancashire was charged with dangerous driving following the incident and will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates on January 22 2025.
